The Ninety

THE CHALLENGE


The Ninety is a creative agency staffed by racers, brand builders, and the originators of the world famous Classic Car Club. They’ve set up shop to serve automotive and luxury brands from a vantage point that doesn’t exist anywhere else. Being a new company they needed the works: a logo, branding, website and business cards to move into the fast lane.

LOGO + BRAND SOLUTION:

INSPIRED AT TURN ONE

The Ninety pays homage to turn number 1 or “The Ninety” at the International Race Track at Watkins Glen in New York. To convey this in the branding, we chose a color palette that incorporates the blacks and grays of the raceway itself and the iconic light blue barriers that surround it. The sans-serif typeface, Futura, was selected for its timelessness and as a nod to the grotesque styles that appeared on racecars throughout the 70’s.
WEB SOLUTION:

RESPONSIVE DESIGN

For The Ninety's launch, we designed and built an introductory website, complete with edge-to-edge imagery by Tuukka Koski and important information about the agency's services. Built on a responsive, cross-browser-friendly structure, the website can be browsed as intended on any device.
THE RESULT:

SUCCESSFUL BRAND LAUNCH

We gave The Ninety the tools and image for a successful brand launch. Since launch, they have been shaking up the auto world and have received a great response, working with brands such as Cadillac, Alta Motors, The Drive by Time Inc. and more.
